Welcome.

I am a second year PhD student in Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also work part time as a Research Fellow/Statistician for Target RWE (formerly NoviSci). This website spawned for two reasons:

1. My partner (a recent PhD grad) recommended I use a blog to synthesize my understanding of academic papers.
2. I am a student and am therefore forever in pursuit of “active procrastination”.

I plan for this website to hold a wide array of topics and ideas that interest me. It may not be limited purely to academic or programming pursuits, although I’ll certainly create specific collections.
